WEEKLY ENVELOPE BOXES

The new weekly boxes of envelopes are now available in the churches. These envelopes are distributed to homes in the parish that request them every year to support the day to day running of the parish, and the upkeep of our buildings. They also include the Parish Development fund which goes towards costs in updating our churches (such as Painting in Ballybacon, re-carpeting and new lights in Ardfinnan, New Cemetery area in Fourmilewater, roof work in Newcastle and cleaning the outside area in Grange which was done in the last few years.)
I make a special appeal to all parishioners who regularly or annually contribute to our respective parishes. We can get a Tax Rebate at no extra cost to most parishioners which has allowed us to so far collect over €15,000 across our parishes in the last few years. This can only be done if we have parishioners who receive a weekly envelope box and will be invaluable going forward.
You have all been so generous in these weekly collections in the past and I thank you most sincerely for your support in ensuring our buildings are kept safe and up to date for future generations. Further information will be given in the coming weeks.

ROTAS
The new readers and ministers’ rotas are available for the coming months in all churches. We thank you all most sincerely for your continued ministry and support.

FR BOBBY POWER
Fr Bobby is moving from Clogheen to Waterford City this weekend. Fr Bobby has been of such wonderful support and made many friends in the parishes since his arrival in Ardfinnan parish and remained in contact with so many since moving 6 years ago. We wish Fr Bobby every good wish and blessing on his new chapter in Waterford.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION WEEKEND MASSES
Next weekend, we welcome many of our 2nd Class students and their parents to the next gathering of our ‘Grow in Love’ parish masses. The children and their parents will be involved from time to time in the readings, offertory, and other reflections at our community weekend Mass, in preparation of them receiving their First Penance and First holy Communion in the spring.
We remember all our young parishioners as they prepare for these wonderful sacraments in their lives, ahead of their First Holy Communion and First Penance in the coming months.
