PARISH PASTORAL COUNCILS

Both parish councils will be meeting in the coming weeks to share ideas and make suggestions for the coming months in our parishes. A parish pastoral council is vital in any parish to assist the priest to advise him and to assist him in planning in many areas of parish life. Anyone in the parish are invited to be part of the council at this time. Please speak to Fr Michael if you feel you can play an important part in our parishes.

SUPPORTING YOUR PARISH

The new boxes of envelopes for those who have used them are now available for collection from both parishes

As explained, for Newcastle / Fourmilewater,  they are starting earlier and parishioners can use either the old ones or start using the new ones. We are aligning them so all collections across both parishes occur at the same time during the year.

For those who wish to avail of using this service which goes to support the parish and other collections such as the support of the priests and others special collections during the year, please complete the forms which are available in the porches / parish office and return them to receive your box of envelopes for the coming year.

If your contribution exceeds €250.00 in a year, we may be able to claim a Charitable Tax Relief at no extra cost to the individual.

Thank you again for your continued support for your local parish.
