Every Easter I take the opportunity to thank so many people who assist in our parishes. Particularly those who look after our sacristies, our collectors and Finance Committee, our parish councils, our readers, ministers, choirs, flower arrangers, cleaners, schools, safeguarding teams, and our altar servers, and to all the individual groups locally who assist us in so many ways.

Obviously, it’s been a busy year as usual, and with me now assisting another two churches in our area things have got very busy so I am particularly grateful to all those who support me with their help and prayers in my ministry. Fr. Jim and Fr. Frawley echo my thanks to you all for your support to us all. I will remember all of you in my masses during Easter.

May the glory and the promise of this joyous time of year bring peace and happiness to you and those you hold most dear. And may Christ, Our Risen Saviour, always be there by your side to bless you most abundantly and be your loving guide.

God bless. Fr. Michael.

The annual Easter Collection for the support of your priest take place on Easter Sunday. Envelopes are available in the boxes of envelopes many parishioners have, or spare ones are available in all churches. Each parish is now asked to financially support their own local priest, and this collection goes towards his usual day to day expenses, such as the usual bills and expenses. On behalf of all the local priests, we thank you most sincerely for your support to us in our local parish communities.

ARDFINNAN – Easter Tuesday 9.30am – with Exposition until 11am.

THERE WILL BE NO MASSES Wednesday, (Fourmilewater)  Thursday (Newcastle)  or Friday (Ardfinnan)  this week.

Your weekly and monthly building fund contributions in the parish are vital in keeping the churches open, and we thank you most sincerely for your ongoing support. For those who would like to make a regular contribution, you can ask the sacristan / Fr Michael and a box of envelopes will be issued to you. Thank you again for your support!
