MASSES THIS WEEK

Ardfinnan Mass on Tuesday will be at the later time of 10am as we will be joined by the school for Catholic Schools Week.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Sunday, 21 January, marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week 2024. During this week we aim to celebrate the unique contribution that Catholic schools make to their communities. This year’s theme is Catholic Schools: Communities of Service. Our parish is joining in the celebrations by celebrating Masses across the week, (Monday 12pm Grange / Tuesday 10am Ardfinnan, Wednesday 10am Fourmilewater, Thursday 10am Newcastle) and the Mass on RTE News on Monday at 10.30am has students from Ardfinnan NS taking part. We give thanks for all our schools, especially the teachers, principals, SNA’s support and secretarial staff and of course our parents and students for making our schools such special places in our communities.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION WEEKEND MASSES
Next weekend, we welcome many of our 2nd Class students and their parents to the next gathering of our ‘Grow in Love’ parish masses. The children and their parents will be involved from time to time in the readings, offertory, and other reflections at our community weekend Mass, in preparation of them receiving their First Penance and First holy Communion in the spring.
We remember all our young parishioners as they prepare for these wonderful sacraments in their lives, ahead of their First Holy Communion and First Penance in the coming months.

ROTAS

The new readers and ministers’ rotas are available for the coming months in all churches. We thank you all most sincerely for your continued ministry and support.
